Fine Art Portraits
Fine Art Portraits can take place either in Emily’s Lime Kiln or Emily’s studio.
These are more considered portraits where you will liaise with Emily to capture a particular look through use of background, styling and outfit. The resulting portraits are totally unique!
Backgrounds can vary from a hand-painted canvas backdrop, a white wall or a set that has been created specially to create a mood.
In the Vogue image here Emily used a canvas backdrop and simple silk black top plus back-lighting to create more of a fashion style look.
In the Grand Master style portraits below Emily had a set designer who ‘dressed’ the lime kiln with an antique wooden floor, Vintage console, & jug of tulips to suggest the backgrounds of the Old Dutch Masters paintings. Emily accessorised with an original Georgian silk dress, hair pieces and an antique ruff. And we had amazing hair designs by the very talented Gemma Louise Williams.
Other themes Emily has done in the Old Lime Kiln have been Vintage Circus and Fairy Tales, the latter which produced a body of work that Emily exhibited in Taunton and London in 2019.

Travel to portrait location (so long as under 45 minutes from Taunton this is free, otherwise small travel fee applies)

1.5 hours Photo-Shoot with Emily – This might be at your house or a favourite location. Several different set ups and different family groupings including some lovely individual portraits of your children.

Editing of the best 150 images into a mix of colour and black and white photos

Burning 150 or more digital images onto a memory stick. You can reproduce them in any way you like.

Hosting your images on a password protected gallery to share with your family

Family Portrait plus Folio Every Album 10x10” 15 spreds is £750

If you’d like a styled Fine Art Portrait Session in the studio or Lime Kiln with a unique theme that we can create together there will be additional costs where we use a Make Up Artist/Hair Designer £200 per session (maybe more depending on how many people are in the session).
Costume TBC depending on what we outfit we choose. £TBC per person.
Emily has an extensive wardrobe of beautiful women’s and children’s clothes. You are welcome to use any of her dresses for these more styled portrait shoots but she may also suggest you buy something specific to wear should her costumes not be suitable.
