Izzy is the sister of one of my former grooms and it was so lovely to be asked to do photos for her and Ben. This couple radiated love and happiness and it was really just a pleasure to be in their orbit.
The ceremony was at St. Benedict’s Church. Stratton on the Fosse. This is the smaller Church next to Downside Abbey and it was such a pleasure to be able to do just married photos in front of this majestic Abbey where Downside School is located – which both Izzy and her brother and sister in law attended. Some of my favourite photos were a spontaneous group hug of the bride and groom from some of their old school friends in front of the Abbey.
Afterwards there was a lovely reception at Orchardleigh House near Frome with beautiful speeches and a cracking band (including Ben’s brother and sister-in-law)
Orchardleigh House has so many beautiful spots for couple photos including the main stairs but perhaps my favourite is the little side verandah made out of classic aged stone but with a roof to give lovely soft light.
